![]() If you are a light sleeper or if you travel with kids, be careful to ask for a room that is away from the pub as the pub gets noisy (especially on those nights where they have an open mike and anyone can “sing”). However, the rooms, in my opinion, looked a lot larger in the pictures. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms very nice. We entered the pub and picked up our keys without a problem. When there is no one available – bad luck. When there is someone there when you call – you are lucky and the phone is answered. All calls are answered (or not) by a person at the pub that is located downstairs (across the door from the Clock Tower Inn entrance). We will never stay at this hotel or eat at the pub ever again. ![]() They asked for our address and promised to send a gift card. They did however apologize about the unlocked door and offered to give us a complimentary meal at the pub downstairs for a later date. Anyway we complained, and upon hearing our concerns they actually tried to justify the dirty kitchen. Inside the room was my expensive designer wedding dress and a semi professional camcorder with our wedding on it. When we returned from sightseeing, the cleaning lady had come to our room, and left the door unlocked. The conditions of the kitchen did not change for hours (we went up their later in the day). The only edible food was the six mini yogurts. We found the bagels in the recycle bin, the fridge full of empty containers and crumbs (gross!) and the garbage bag on the counter. When we went upstairs to get the 'complimentary breakfast 'the next day, it was a joke. When we arrived in the room, there were no towels in the room. We decided to book a room at the Clock Tower Inn for our honeymoon night. This is the worst hotel experience my husband and I have ever encountered.
